Core Freiburg modules include Biostatistics, Artificial Intelligence and Bioethics; Pharmacology, Toxicology, Materials and Microsystems; Molecular Oncology and Cardiology; Molecular and Cellular Biology, Immunology and Pathology; plus hands-on laboratory research. Elective practicals (for example: Gene Editing, FACS and Microscopy, Decellularisation of the Human Cornea) are possible. The program concludes with an eight-month master’s thesis (July–February), which can be carried out either in Freiburg or Buenos Aires.
