Overview The program is built to develop future leaders who will operate across European and Asian markets. It is particularly suited to early-career professionals who hold a first degree in engineering, or the social or natural sciences, and who already have at least one year of work experience. Taught in English, the curriculum aims to bridge technical or scientific backgrounds with advanced management capabilities for an international career.
Curriculum and learning approach Core modules introduce contemporary business thinking and methods that form the foundation for further, regionally focused study. Specialized courses deepen understanding of management and market dynamics specifically in Europe and Asia, and students can choose from topical specialisations to align the degree with their career goals. Many courses include practical, out-of-classroom elements to reinforce applied skills and real-world problem solving.
Why it matters The program’s combined emphasis on global management competencies and the particularities of European and Asian markets equips graduates to adapt and lead in cross-regional contexts. It is ideal for students who want to translate technical or scientific expertise into strategic and managerial roles with an international orientation.
Entry requirements (concise)
This MBA programme builds practical and strategic skills for managing businesses across Europe and Asia through a mix of theory, case work, guest lectures and a study tour. In the first semester you focus on core capabilities: Leading & Communicating Across Cultures (developing cross-cultural leadership and communication skills), Managing & Leading People Worldwide (HR, leadership development and aligning corporate strategy with social and environmental goals), European/Asian Management I (differences in cultural and political business contexts between Europe and Asia), Managing Technology & Global Operations (operations strategy, supply‑chain analytics and digital transformation) and Managing the Global Business Environment (foundations of strategy, marketing and international business law).
The second semester deepens regional and functional expertise. European/Asian Management II examines the EU’s and Asian economies’ roles in the global marketplace via case studies, external experts and a study tour to Luxembourg. Managing International Projects & Risk prepares you to plan and control cross‑border projects, and Managing Global Corporate Finance covers management of financial risks, tax impacts across jurisdictions and accounting standards for multinationals. Two Advanced Knowledge & Skills modules let you choose specialised courses from the School’s Master’s portfolio to tailor your skill set.
The final phase prepares you for independent research and professional application. A Master’s thesis seminar teaches academic writing standards, literature search techniques, ethical issues including plagiarism awareness, and options for company collaboration. You then complete a Master’s thesis as an in‑depth research project or case study. There is also an optional 22‑week professional internship available after finishing the first ten modules; if the internship is professionally relevant and accompanied by a 15–20 page scientific internship report, it can be credited with 30 ECTS.
This programme is designed for applicants who hold a bachelor’s degree from a primarily non-business/non-economics background and who can demonstrate motivation for an international business career. Your application should include official academic records, evidence of professional experience after graduation, and proof of English proficiency, together with standard identity and personal-document items.
When preparing your file, provide original or officially certified copies where required (official transcript of your previous degree). For work experience, include employer confirmation as evidence. Submit TOEFL or IELTS score reports to demonstrate English ability. If any documents are not in English (or the programme’s required language), be prepared to supply certified translations where requested by admissions.

Graduates are prepared for international leadership and management roles in organisations operating between Europe and Asia. Typical career paths include regional or international manager, project manager for cross‑border initiatives, supply chain/operations manager, corporate strategy or business development roles, and positions in consulting or international corporate finance. The programme’s focus on cross-cultural leadership and European/Asian market dynamics is particularly relevant for multinational corporations, trade and logistics companies, and firms pursuing expansion into Asian or European markets.
Because the intake targets candidates with technical or science backgrounds, alumni are also well suited for leadership roles at the interface of technology and business, such as product or programme management in tech firms, industrial companies managing global operations, and innovation management roles. The optional internship and opportunities for company‑linked theses increase employability through applied experience and industry contacts.
