Completion requirements (summary)
Applicants should hold an undergraduate degree in business administration or a closely related, academically equivalent qualification. For international degrees, make sure your diploma and transcripts are recognized as comparable to a German bachelor’s in business; if in doubt, contact admissions or request a credential evaluation. Degrees in related fields (for example, economics, management or marketing) are commonly considered comparable, but final eligibility is determined by the admissions office.
In addition to academic preparation, you must have practical, professional work experience of at least two years. This typically means verifiable employment in a professional role after your undergraduate studies; part-time, freelance or internship experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Prepare a clear CV and employment documentation (employment certificates, reference letters or contracts) to demonstrate the length and relevance of your work history, and consult admissions if you need clarity about what counts toward the two-year requirement.

The programme prepares graduates for international marketing and management roles by combining core business modules (e.g. global marketing strategies, business analytics, multinational financial management) with a specialised year abroad in a partner country. This combination readies students for positions that require cross-border strategic thinking, data-informed marketing decisions and leadership in multinational settings.
Typical career paths include roles such as international marketing manager, brand/product manager, market analyst, business development manager or consultant in multinational corporations, marketing agencies and consultancies. The dual-degree format, international network and practical focus increase graduates' employability for global roles and leadership-track positions in internationally oriented organisations.
