Overview
This MSc in Real Estate is taught in English and structured in progressive stages that first prepare you for academic research and strengthen your leadership capabilities. After this foundation phase, the programme focuses on the core technical, financial and management topics of real estate, helping you to consolidate new knowledge and develop as a leader in the sector.
Practical, interdisciplinary and sustainability-focused learning are key features. You will work on applied field projects and cross-disciplinary initiatives—one of which is run in cooperation with the REaL Foundation and concentrates on leading change for a sustainable built environment with an ESG focus. Application requirements (check the university for exact details)
If you’re an international applicant, confirm exact admission criteria, language test minimums, and document deadlines with the university’s admissions office before applying.
This Master's programme is built to be adaptable to your prior knowledge, professional experience and career goals. All options combine rigorous on-campus study with a concluding Master's thesis, while allowing you to prioritise international exposure, hands-on practice, or a faster route to graduation depending on your needs.
You can choose from several tailored pathways: a Semester Abroad track that partners with one of 200 international universities; a Practice track that replaces a study-abroad semester with an extended, career-focused internship; an Accelerated track that shortens the programme for candidates who already meet the entry conditions and have relevant international experience; or a Dual Degree option that adds an extra semester abroad to earn an additional international Master’s or MBA. Each path maintains two semesters at the home campus as its core and culminates in the thesis.
Key learning outcomes across these pathways include advanced knowledge of real-estate and business administration principles, practical skills gained through internships or international study, enhanced intercultural competence, and improved employability in global real-estate markets. Depending on the track you choose, you will either deepen practical, on-the-job capabilities or broaden your strategic and international perspective—both aimed at increasing your competitiveness in the global labour market.
Key programme tracks and structure (concise)
This master’s programme evaluates applications based on your academic background, language skills and a standardized admissions test. To start your application you must upload your degree documentation and proof of English ability, plus one of the accepted admissions tests. If your submitted documents meet the formal requirements, you will be invited to an individual interview where we assess your motivation and interpersonal skills.
The interview focuses on your drive to learn and perform, how you communicate and work with others, your willingness to take on social responsibility, and your initiative. Prepare to discuss your motivations, past experiences, and examples that demonstrate these qualities.
