This Master of Science prepares you for leadership roles in international organisations and companies, with an emphasis on project management and practical applications. The curriculum develops both strategic and operational management skills and lets you specialise in Green Energy and Climate Finance. The specialisation is delivered by the Berlin Professional School in partnership with RENAC (Renewables Academy) AG, combining academic management education with sector-specific training in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
The programme adopts an interdisciplinary, international management perspective so you can pursue careers across the renewable energy, energy-efficiency and climate finance sectors. Graduates find roles with project developers and investors, financing institutions, consultancies and public organisations. The format is designed for flexibility—courses can be followed remotely at any time and from any location—while retaining hands-on learning through in-person activities: a three-day seminar plus a one-week on-campus block featuring practical exercises, live lectures and networking opportunities.
Students benefit from experienced delivery partners: Berlin Professional School, a long-standing provider of advanced management education in Germany, and RENAC, a globally active training expert that links learners to industry practice. There is also an option to extend your studies by one additional semester to obtain the Global Online MBA from Porto Business School, which holds Triple Crown accreditation.

Requirements (programme completion)
This master’s programme expects applicants to combine a solid academic foundation with practical professional experience. The standard route requires a completed university degree with 210 CP (credit points) and at least one year of postgraduate work experience after finishing that degree. This ensures incoming students have both the theoretical background and early professional exposure needed for advanced study in business and climate finance.
If you do not hold a first university degree, there is an alternative pathway based on professional experience. Candidates without a degree must demonstrate substantial, relevant work history and pass a qualification test to show they have the skills and knowledge required for graduate-level study. International applicants should be prepared to document their prior education and employment clearly so admissions can assess equivalence.
Admission requirements (summary)
If you have questions about how your national degree or work experience maps to these requirements, contact the admissions office to confirm equivalence and documentation needed.
