Overview
This interdisciplinary Master's program explores how entrepreneurship and innovation interact within an increasingly global and sustainability-focused economy. Courses cover international entrepreneurship, digitalisation, sustainability and research methods, giving you a foundation to develop new ventures, lead digital transformation projects or contribute to sustainable business models. The programme is taught in English, making it accessible to international students.
Structure and international opportunities
You can customise your study path through a broad selection of elective modules, aligning the curriculum with your interests and career goals. As part of the programme’s international profile, you will spend one semester at a partner university under a double degree arrangement — after completing the partner institution’s requirements you receive a second Master’s degree. This combination of practical, digital and sustainability-oriented topics, plus the research component, prepares graduates for roles in start-ups, corporate innovation units, consultancies or further academic study.
Requirements
During the first two semesters you build your curriculum from compulsory elective courses across three pillars: international entrepreneurship, digitalisation and sustainability. You select courses freely to match your interests and career goals, but must take 10 ECTS from each of the three areas every semester — effectively 30 ECTS per semester. This structure gives you flexibility to specialise while ensuring a balanced foundation across all three themes.
The third semester is fully research-focused. You will be introduced to a range of research methods and apply them to an independent, academic Master’s thesis. The programme culminates in a Master’s seminar where you present your research findings, receive feedback and demonstrate your ability to communicate scholarly results.
The curriculum’s core modules are organised around the three compulsory elective areas (international entrepreneurship, digitalisation, sustainability). Expected learning outcomes include:
