This Master of Science trains students to design, grow and transform organisations for a global market by combining entrepreneurship, strategic management and innovation. The curriculum is geared toward developing the mindset and practical skills needed by future business leaders and founders, with an emphasis on identifying opportunities, building scalable business models and steering corporate change.
The course structure balances core theory with personalization and independent research: six core modules (including business modelling, growth strategies and corporate entrepreneurship) are complemented by five electives that let you shape your profile, plus two advanced seminars and a research-based master’s thesis. A semester abroad is recommended and the programme allows recognition of international credits, supporting an internationally oriented study path.
Learning is practice-focused: you will work on real-world cases, create business plans and pitch ideas to industry and academic practitioners. Strong teamwork, individual mentoring and guided ethical reflection are built into the programme to support both professional competence and personal development. Graduates are prepared to launch startups, join consulting firms or lead innovation initiatives within established organisations.
This four-semester (120 ECTS) Master’s programme trains students to lead entrepreneurial initiatives and strategic growth projects by combining innovation management, business modelling and corporate entrepreneurship. The curriculum balances theory and practice so graduates can design viable business models, plan go-to-market strategies, and manage scaling processes in start-ups or corporate development units.
In the first year students complete six compulsory core modules (36 ECTS) that build a foundation in Innovation Management, Business Modelling, Go-to-Market and Business Development, Managing Growth, Corporate Entrepreneurship, and Foundations of Economic Ethics. During this phase they also begin choosing electives from a predefined catalogue to deepen specialised skills in areas such as International Business Development, Digital Transformation Strategies, Venture Capital and Private Equity, and Business Negotiations.
The second year emphasises applied work and individual focus: students take five elective modules (30 ECTS) aligned with their interests, and participate in two research seminars (24 ECTS) centered on practical case studies and business-plan development. These seminars require pitching business ideas and involve close collaboration with practitioners from the start-up ecosystem and corporate development teams. The programme culminates in a 30 ECTS Master’s thesis, typically addressing a business-development topic and frequently based on a self-created business plan or strategic growth analysis. An optional semester abroad at a partner university is supported; credits earned overseas can be recognised toward the degree.

Graduates are prepared for roles that require launching, scaling or transforming businesses — for example as founders/co-founders, business developers, corporate development managers, innovation managers or consultants. The programme’s applied projects, pitching experience and research seminars train students to develop and implement business models and go-to-market strategies in both startup and corporate environments.
The interdisciplinary skillset also suits positions in venture capital/private equity, product and strategy teams, or roles requiring cross-functional leadership in international settings. The recommended semester abroad and internationally oriented content further support career paths in multinational firms or international entrepreneurship.
