This programme expects applicants to hold a strong first university degree in business administration, economics or a closely related field. Academic performance should meet the specified minimum grade in the German marking system (or an equivalent foreign grade). The original degree must come from a programme with a standard full‑time duration of at least three years.
If your prior degree is classified as “related,” it must contain a substantial business/economics component. Specifically, at least 60 ECTS credits should cover business or economics subjects, and this must include at least 10 ECTS credits in economic/business research methods (for example: data collection, data processing, mathematics, software development or statistics). Applicants who earned their degree in a country that is not a signatory to the Lisbon Recognition Convention must also submit a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score of at least 550 to demonstrate suitability for the MSc programme.
