This MSc offers two study pathways: a 90 ECTS option completed over three semesters, or a 120 ECTS option spread across four semesters. Both tracks begin at the start of September and have the first two semesters on campus in Vallendar. After those semesters students undertake a mandatory summer internship to gain real-world experience. The 90 ECTS track includes a capstone module completed abroad before the internship, with the master’s thesis written in the third semester after the internship. The 120 ECTS track replaces the capstone with a full semester abroad at one of the programme’s partner universities worldwide; students then complete their thesis in the fourth semester.
Core courses cover the fundamentals and advanced practice of entrepreneurship and innovation. They include:
Elective options allow you to tailor the degree toward analytics, sustainability, finance or commercial strategy—examples include Actionable Customer Analytics, Sustainable Operations Management, Data Driven Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital Finance, and B2B Pricing: Negotiation, Calculation, Strategy.
Graduates will be able to construct investor-ready financial plans, design and scale business models, apply accounting and legal frameworks for startups, and use data and customer insight to inform strategic decisions. The curriculum combines classroom theory, hands-on projects (e.g., Sprint2Berlin), an obligatory internship for practical application, and international exposure via an abroad capstone or semester, preparing you for launching ventures, joining high-growth firms, or working in venture finance and related fields.
This master’s program looks for candidates with a solid undergraduate foundation, practical exposure to entrepreneurship, and strong interpersonal and language skills. Successful applicants typically demonstrate commitment, a collaborative mindset, and excellent English proficiency. The admissions process assesses both academic preparation and real-world potential — for example, through a short pitch deck and evidence of internships or equivalent experience.
International applicants should note that some elements (English-test requirements, application portal link, and detailed submission instructions) are provided on the program website. The process includes an initial application review, a video-recorded interview via Kira Talent, and a final live online interview.
