The programme delivers advanced knowledge across core management areas and allows you to shape your own profile through a wide choice of elective courses. The Studium fundamentale component lets you broaden both intellectual and personal horizons beyond strict disciplinary boundaries. The course concludes with a Master’s thesis, giving you the chance to pursue an in‑depth, meaningful research project.
Designed for graduates holding a BA/BSc in Business, Management or Economics, the programme is aimed at those who want to specialise in corporate management, strategy and organisation. It attracts ambitious students eager to develop sustainable responses to global challenges such as globalisation and digitalisation, and expects participants to bring curiosity, openness and intellectual perseverance to a distinctive academic setting that stresses applying knowledge to real management problems.
The programme delivers advanced management education that combines theoretical depth with strong empirical skills. Core teaching includes Advanced Theories of Management alongside rigorous training in both Advanced Quantitative Methods and Advanced Qualitative Methods. You can also shape your own pathway by choosing from a broad range of electives, allowing specialisation in areas such as Leadership & Transformation, Strategy Management, Organisational Management or Family Business.
On completion, graduates will be able to apply contemporary management theories to complex organisational challenges, design and carry out empirical research using quantitative and qualitative techniques, and pursue specialised career paths or further academic study. Applicants should hold a relevant first degree and have solid methodological training. Specifically, the program expects a bachelor’s-level qualification in management, business or economics amounting to 180 ECTS (equivalent to a typical three-year undergraduate degree). In addition, your prior studies must include at least 30 ECTS worth of coursework in quantitative and qualitative methods—this usually covers areas such as statistics, econometrics and research methods.
You must also demonstrate a good command of English suitable for graduate study. Admissions are not automatic: the university selects students through a careful, two-stage selection process that has been in place since its founding. Full details on the application and selection steps are available on the program website.
